LINCOLN, NE (November 7, 2018) – Cybersecurity firm Infogressive announced today that they will begin offering advanced Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) technology to their customers in partnership with Cybereason, creators of the leading cybersecurity data analytics platform.
The integration of the Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) technology with Infogressive’s existing services will allow companies to thoroughly detect advanced threats and reduce their incident response times. This means increased protection of user data, providing additional visibility into both known and unknown threats on the network.
Justin Kallhoff, CEO of Infogressive, said, “Adding EDR to our MSSP platform provides our security team with the visibility to detect and isolate a variety of attacks. Not surprisingly, hackers have learned to bypass many traditional security defenses; it’s our mission to stop them.”
Cybereason’s Vice President of Business Development, Gary Kevelson commented on the partnership, saying, “We are excited to partner with Infogressive to deliver an integrated solution that utilizes our award-winning platform. For too long, the SMB market has not had access to the level of technology required to support their business and work safely in an interconnected world. Now, through our partnership, even the smallest businesses will have the managed solution they need to stay ahead of today’s ever-evolving threats.”
EDR is a technology that takes a proactive approach to security. Once EDR is installed, it uses advanced algorithms to remember and connect user activity on the network, analyzing the behaviors. That data is collected and monitored for malicious activity. If an alert is triggered, the algorithms track the attack and build a path back to its point of entry.
The technology then consolidates all data into categories called MalOpsTM which dramatically reduce the investigation hours required from an analyst.
Unlike traditional security products that react after a threat is detected, EDR monitors endpoints in real time and hunts for threats that have already infiltrated a company’s defenses. It offers greater visibility into endpoint activity, a comprehensive attack timeline, and remedies for the attack.
Katie Koester, Director of Technology at Kidwell, stated, “EDR has allowed me to have confidence in my security strategy. If anything goes wrong, Infogressive calls me immediately and has already isolated the threat! This saves precious time and money on downtime because I know I always have someone watching even if I’m unavailable when a threat occurs.”
This addition to Infogressive’s services provides a comprehensive security platform to give companies the protection they need and deserve.
